Gas Engineer

We are currently working in partnership with a respected housing association an who are looking to appoint a Gas Engineer on a 9-month FTC.

This will be a full-time position based in Pembrokeshire, with a company vehicle/fuel card and a salary of £35,454 per annum.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Gas Engineer looking to work within the social housing sector, carrying out a mixture of responsive repairs, compliance works, servicing, and planned maintenance across residential properties.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Completing gas servicing, repairs, maintenance and fault-finding works
• Delivering high levels of first-time fix performance
• Undertaking heating installations and replacements
• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with current gas safety regulations and compliance standards
• Supporting planned maintenance and property improvement programmes
• Providing excellent customer service to tenants and residents

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• ACS Gas qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 and CPA1
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Gas, Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance within domestic properties
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong customer-focused approach

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week
• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
