Opportunity for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a special needs school in Barking and Dagenham.

This special needs school caters for children between the ages of 2 and 19 who have autism and moderate and/or severe learning difficulties.

This is an opportunity to join a well-run, established and friendly school where you can make a huge difference to the lives of pupils.

SEN Teaching Assistant - Barking

Details:

  • SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Work in a successful School with a friendly and inspiring team
  • Primary and Secondary phases
  • Support Class Teacher to deliver learning activities
  • Monitor and manage students social and emotional development
  • Assist with personal care duties when required
  • Supervise students during breaks, lunch and out of school on trips
  • Maintain high standard of safeguarding for all children
  • Experience in a School setting or Care background / Support Worker would be advantageous
