Location: Beauly, Inverness-shire
Contract: Contract / Site-Based - 12 months

About the Role

We are recruiting an experienced Site Manager to support a major energy infrastructure project based at Beauly, near Inverness.

The Site Manager will take a leading role in coordinating supervisors, site teams and work activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.

Previous site management / site supervision experience is essential, ideally gained within the electricity supply industry, substation, power generation or energy.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate supervisors, site teams and work activities across assigned work fronts.
  • Ensure works are delivered safely on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate mechanical and electrical installation activities where required.
  • Monitor progress against project timescales and identify potential delays or deviations.
  • Coordinate with other work parties to ensure efficient and safe working across the site.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements.
  • Lead by example and ensure all site personnel adhere to site rules and safe working practices.
  • Support completion of task cards and required project documentation.
  • Maintain effective communication with site management, contractors and wider project teams.
  • Assist with problem solving and conflict resolution where required.


Essential Requirements

Candidates must hold the following current certifications:

  • CSCS
  • SMSTS
  • C3
  • First Aid

In addition, candidates should have:

  • Previous Site Management / Site Supervision experience.
  • Experience leading and coordinating site teams and multiple work fronts.
  • Experience working within a construction, energy, power or industrial environment.
  • A strong understanding of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements.
  • Experience coordinating mechanical and electrical installation activities would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience within an electricity supply, substation or wider energy infrastructure environment would be highly desirable.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Apprentice trained with City & Guilds / minimum NVQ Level 3 in an appropriate discipline, plus relevant supervisory experience; or Degree qualified with relevant site supervisory / management experience.
  • Experience coordinating mechanical and electrical installation activities would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience within an electricity supply, substation or wider energy infrastructure environment would be highly desirable.
