Temp Warehouse Operative

A temporary Warehouse Operative role within a well-established organisation, This short-term position provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in warehouse operations, with competitive pay and a friendly team atmosphere. The hours of work are 07.00am to 3.00pm. The role is ideal for someone seeking temporary work with a focus on efficiency, safety, and quality standards .You must be available to start this Friday and work on a week to week basis according to the needs of the business.

Key responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from warehouse stock based on pick lists and storage layout.
• Ensure timely dispatch of orders, adhering to daily deadlines.
• Operate warehouse management systems to process inbound and outbound deliveries.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety in line with HSE policies.
• Assist in stock management, including topping up shelves and recording stock levels.
• Participate in quality checks for picked orders to maintain accuracy.
• Follow clear dispatch procedures and ensure neat, organised work areas.

About you:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Reliable, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
• Committed to health, safety, and maintaining a clean working environment.
