ABOUT THE ROLE Your focus as Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator will be to provide a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being and to understand the need to promote the philosophy of privacy, dignity.
Main duties of the job
As a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in the lives of residents at Camberley Heights Care Home. You will engage in activities that promote the physical, psychological, and social well-being of the residents. Responsibilities include planning and organizing activities, developing relationships with residents and their families to understand their preferences, and creating detailed life stories. Additionally, you will maintain a safe and positive environment, ensuring the home maintains a high standard of care. This role values compassion, dedication, respect, and a shared commitment to exceptional care and requires you to work closely within a team to provide the best experience for the residents.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
- Identifying the life history, needs, and preferences of residents by listening to them and their families to support the development of a detailed life story.
- Planning and submitting to the Home Manager- a monthly activity and wellbeing plan and a weekly overview.
- Arranging activities, events, and outings, encouraging the involvement of staff, relatives, and visitors.
- Maintaining a safe living and working environment, contributing to the positive and professional image of the home.
