Relief Support Worker

We are seeking a warm, reliable, and proactive Relief Support Worker to join our passionate team in Blackburn, Lancashire. Our vibrant service provides quality care and support to residents with learning disabilities and other complex support needs. Each day is different, as we help our service users engage in activities like exercising, gardening, baking, and arts & crafts.

In this role, you will provide personal care, administer medication, and assist with domestic tasks, such as cooking and cleaning. You will also encourage service users to participate in social activities and develop warm, trusting relationships with them and their families.

A minimum of 12 months’ UK care experience is essential for all Relief roles. You will attend mandatory induction courses before commencing work within our Blackburn services.

As a Creative Support Bank Staff member, you will have access to our free app, allowing you to pick up shifts in any area of the country. The app also provides information on the service and shifts, including directions. This relief position enables you to pick up shifts at times that suit you, making it ideal for fitting around personal commitments, study, or caring responsibilities. You will be paid on a weekly basis via our Bank Payroll.

A valid driving licence is desirable.
