Customer Service Advisor (Part Time FTC)
Location: Home Based (Knowsley or Havant Regions)
Contract: Fixed Term Contract (3 and 6 month opportunities available)
Hours: Part Time, 20-21 hours per week
Start Date: 1st October 2026
We're looking for Customer Service Advisors to join our Customer Experience Team on a fixed-term basis to support our busy repairs and maintenance service. We have a number of part-time opportunities available, with both 3-month and 6-month fixed-term contracts on offer.
This is an agile role, allowing you to work predominantly from home. You must, however, be within a commutable distance of either Knowsley or Havant to attend an initial two-week training programme and occasional team meetings or business requirements.

As the first point of contact for our customers, you'll play a key role in delivering an excellent customer experience.
You'll be responsible for handling customer enquiries, updating multiple systems accurately, scheduling appointments, and ensuring every customer receives a professional and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to incoming customer calls and service enquiries
- Provide updates on repair and maintenance requests
- Book and manage appointments for field-based engineers
- Update customer information accurately across multiple systems
- Meet service level targets while maintaining high-quality customer interactions
- Resolve customer queries with empathy, professionalism, and ownership
- Deliver a positive customer experience at every interaction
We're looking for individuals who can be flexible and work a range of shifts, including:
- Evening shifts between 5:00pm and 11:00pm
- Weekend working
- Rotas operating across 5 days from 7 or 5 days from 10, depending on the shift pattern selected
- No overnight working required
Several shift patterns are available and will be discussed during the recruitment process.
What We're Looking For- Previous experience in a customer service, contact centre, or service desk environment
- Excellent telephone and communication skills
- Strong IT skills and confidence working across multiple systems simultaneously
- The ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- A customer-focused mindset with a positive attitude
Experience within housing repairs, maintenance, utilities, or social housing is desirable, but not essential. We're keen to hear from candidates with a strong customer service background who are eager to learn.
