Part-Time Payroll Supervisor (FTC)

We are working with a brilliant client seeking a Payroll Supervisor to support the payroll team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of the monthly payroll. This role includes providing cover for the Payroll Manager when required and maintaining the confidentiality of data at all times.

This is an office-based role, available for either 3 or 4 days a week on a fixed-term-contract basis for 12 months.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Support the payroll team to ensure timely and accurate processing of the payroll.
• Upload timesheets and other bulk data uploads into the payroll system.
• Ensure appropriate reconciliations are performed, month-end close/roll forward completed, and monies are remitted accurately and on time.
• Take responsibility for the payroll for new sites and coordinate the transfer of all TUPE starters onto the payroll.
• Run reports including monthly payroll, pension, ONS, and costing reports, plus TUPE exit data as and when required.
• Assist with training of new unit managers on the payroll system and processes remotely.
• Administration of Attachment of Earnings and other DWP queries.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous relevant experience in Payroll at a supervisory level.
• Numerate, accurate, and good attention to detail.
• Satisfactory Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
• Previous use of iTrent payroll system would be an advantage, but not essential.
• Ability to mentor colleagues with less experience.
