Driver

Location: Hickman Avenue, Wolverhampton - You would be given your daily routes from here
Pay Rate: £13.05 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, Split Shifts (7:00am to 9:00am and 2:00pm to 4:00pm)

You would need to be available to work both shifts Monday to Friday, term time only.

We are currently looking for a reliable, caring, and professional Driver to join our team, providing safe and dependable transportation for children. As a Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring children are transported safely and comfortably between home and school. The ideal candidate will be punctual, responsible, and committed to providing a positive experience for passengers at all times.

• Safely transporting children to and from school and other designated locations.
• Conducting vehicle safety checks before and after journeys.
• Ensuring passengers are secure and comfortable throughout their journey.
• Following planned routes and schedules efficiently.
• Maintaining a professional, friendly, and supportive attitude.
• Adhering to all road traffic regulations and safeguarding procedures.

• A full, valid UK driving licence. We will accept D1 or non D1 driving licenses
• A safe and responsible driving record.
• Excellent punctuality and reliability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring and patient approach when working with children.
• The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with split shifts:

• Morning Shift: 7:00am to 9:00am
• Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm to 4:00pm
• Monday to Friday
• School term-time working pattern

You must be able to work both ends of the shifts, Monday to Friday

As this position involves working with and transporting children, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check prior to employment. Employment will be subject to satisfactory DBS clearance and relevant safeguarding checks.
