Roofer

Enjoy a six-month temporary role with a work vehicle provided during the day, working for an established local authority in the Atherstone area. This Roofer role offers consistent work across a varied range of roofing, brickwork and external repair jobs.
You’ll be working for a respected local authority, supporting its in-house maintenance team while providing additional cover over the coming months. You’ll be trusted to complete repairs to a good standard and use your wider building skills where required in your role as a Roofer.
I would love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as a Roofer, Roofing Operative, Multi Trade Operative or General Builder with strong roofing experience.

As a Roofer you will be:

• Replacing damaged and missing roof tiles
• Rebuilding and repairing chimneys
• Completing lead flashing repairs
• Repairing and replacing ridge tiles
• Carrying out general roofing repairs
• Completing bricklaying and slabbing work when required

• Strong experience completing general roofing repairs
• Bricklaying and slabbing experience
• The ability to work across a varied range of repairs
• Reliable transport to travel independently to the council depot

Location & travel
Based in Atherstone, you’ll need to be able to make your own way to the council depot each day. A work vehicle will be available for completing jobs during working hours but cannot be taken home.
