You will be an integral part of the housekeeping team at a service for those with neurological conditions where you will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms and visitors area. Working closely with the maintenance team youll ensure all areas of the service are spotless and be able to confidently deliver high standard cleaning services. Youll receive all necessary training to get you started and join the dedicated team, where you can make a positive difference and be part of changing lives for the better. Main duties of the job
As a Housekeeper at Badby Park, you'll be a key member of the team, helping to maintain a safe and clean environment for some of society's most vulnerable individuals. You'll be responsible for cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms, and visitor areas. Working closely with the maintenance team, you'll ensure that all areas are spotless and provide high-standard cleaning services. As a Housekeeper you will be:
- Maintaining required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures as defined by the Hospital.
- An active member of the team with a range of responsibility over the day-to-day operation.
- Maintaining excellent telephone etiquette and ability to meet and greeting visitors in a professional manner.
- Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all staff, visitors and service users.
- Helping create a positive culture.
- Undertaking any other tasks requested that are appropriate for the post.
- Attending mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have previous experience of cleaning within a similar environment
- Enjoy cleaning and get satisfaction from a job well done
- Prioritise duties and responsibilities effectively
- Be a good communicator

You will be working alongside the clinical teams at Badby Park to care for people with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries, where you will deliver person-centred care where each individual is at the heart of everything you do.
This specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service which boasts extensive facilities that cater for specific needs of the residents that is set in acres of stunning countryside on the outskirts of Daventry.
Badby Park is a grand manor house steeped in history with stunning views, excellent facilities and a tranquil setting. Good road links makes it easily commutable from Daventry, Rugby, Northampton and Banbury.
