Accounts Assistant | Immediate Start | 3 to 6 Month Temporary Contract

Looking for your next role and available to start straight away? We're working with a fantastic local business that needs an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team immediately on a 3 to 6 month temporary contract.

This is a great opportunity to secure work quickly with a supportive team, but we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running from day one.

What you'll be doing

• Processing purchase and sales invoices
• Bank reconciliations
• Assisting with payment runs
• Managing supplier queries
• Supporting month-end processes
• General finance administration and maintaining accurate records

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
• Available to start immediately or within a few days
• Able to work confidently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Local to Lancaster and able to work on-site five days a week
