ABOUT THE ROLE As Care Home Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead of a Barchester care home, you'll support the delivery of the quality care we're known for. Main duties of the job

Working closely with the General Manager, you will assume leadership in their absence, ensuring high care standards and motivating your team. The role involves inspiring a multidisciplinary team to help residents enjoy the best possible quality of life. You'll monitor standards through audits, clinical practice supervision, and regulatory compliance checks. The position requires a Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) with current NMC registration, along with teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualifications. Experience with diverse resident health needs, safeguarding investigations, and clinical risk assessments is essential. Additional skills in HR, sales and marketing, and budget management are valued, along with supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship.
