Financial Accountant - 6 Month FTC

Oxford | Hybrid | Onsite Parking | £50,000-£55,000

Robert Half Ltd are pleased to be working with a business that are looking for a Financial Accountant to join the team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a varied role covering inventory, fixed assets, intercompany accounting, accounts receivable and month-end reporting, with the opportunity to work closely with teams across Finance, Procurement, Operations and Sales.

To be considered for this role you must have strong SAP experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and fixed asset accounting, including valuations, transfers and write-offs.
• Reconcile intercompany balances and multi-currency transactions.
• Prepare monthly inventory and asset reporting.
• Support Accounts Receivable, invoicing and customer reconciliations.
• Perform month-end reconciliations and investigate aged items.
• Support stock counts, audits and external audit requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.

About You

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or part-qualified.
• Financial accounting experience; inventory experience desirable.
• Strong Excel skills
• ERP experience; SAP Business One or S/4HANA desirable.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
